Bury Hospice, Bury

About this Collection

Thank you for supporting your local Hospice with the Christmas tree collection. This year from the 10th - 12th January the wonderful volunteers collected and recycled over 901 real Christmas trees.

The collection has raised a marvellous £10,787.47 (including Gift Aid and after costs) of which £9,906.42 going to Bury Hospice and £1,078.75 going to the local charity The Jigsaw Group. Jigsaw is a member led organisation that aims to promote fun, freedom and independence for disabled people in the Bury Metropolitan area.

The collection was supported by:

Bespoke Landscapes Ltd, Ashley Edge Gardening Services,

Parcelfast, Lostock Installations, Timothy’s NW Ltd,

Senior Waste Removals and a great team of volunteers.

For further information or if you would like to get involved with the Christmas tree collection please contact Dale Mulgrew, in Fundraising by email dalemulgrew@buryhospice.org.uk.

About the Hospice

Bury Hospice, based on Rochdale Old Road, provides care to the people of the six towns - Bury, Prestwich, Radcliffe, Ramsbottom, Tottington and Whitefield – who have life-limiting conditions.

Bury Hospice is here to offer care and support, not only to people approaching the end of life – though that is a very

important part of our service – but also to their families and friends. We offer outstanding care from in-patient to day care services and community outreach support. We aim to help Bury people achieve the best possible quality of life at a time when this matters more than ever.

Please support your local Hospice – we appreciate your generosity.  Thank you.
