About this Collection
Thank you for your interest and support in the Christmas tree collection 2020 in aid of Kirkwood Hospice.
The collection wouldn’t be possible without the help of the volunteers and local businesses. We would like to give a special thanks to the West Yorkshire 4x4 Volunteers and Myers Skip Hire for their continued support with this campaign. Their knowledge, help and expertise have been invaluable to the hospice.
The volunteers collected more than 1,137 Christmas trees between the 8th - 12th January. All the Christmas trees were recycled in the grounds of Oakwell Hall Country Park in Birstall.
With the help of your generous donations the event has raised £8,733.78 (after costs and including Gift Aid) and this will help support anyone affected by a life limiting illness, every step of the way. 90% of the monies raised will go to the hospice and 10% to other local charities.
For queries or further information about getting involved with the next Christmas tree collection please contact the Events Team by tel: 01484 557911 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
About the Hospice
Within the next decade, someone we know will be diagnosed with an illness that they won’t get better from.
A parent, grandparent, partner, sibling, son or daughter. A friend, colleague or neighbor. At some point in the future, and with increasing regularity, we will all have to face up to this painful reality.
At Kirkwood, we don’t think that anyone should have to face this alone.
We are here to support anyone in Kirklees affected by a life limiting illness, every step of the way.
