About this Collection
Thank you for supporting The Christmas tree collection which is the simplest, greenest and most charitable way to get rid of your Christmas tree after the festive period.
2020 was the third year running for Teesside Hospice collecting real Christmas trees. From the 5th - 7th January, the amazing volunteers collected and recycled over 1,441 trees which has raised £12,410.91
90% of the monies raised is donated to Teesside Hospice with 10% going to a local charity.
The collection is run entirely by volunteers and all Christmas trees were chipped and recycled to be in used in local areas, including Stewart Park. We really appreciate your support, we couldn't do any of this without you.

About the Hospice
Teesside Hospice offers palliative care for people over the age of 18 who are living with a life limiting illness when a cure is no longer possible. Our care is provided 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year and reaches thousands of local people. Funded predominantly by charitable donations and it is thanks to YOU that we can continue to provide our vital care.
It would not be possible for patients and their families to receive the high quality care and support they deserve without the wonderful and generous support we get from YOU - our community.
Our care is free of charge to patients and their families, but not free to provide.
Each year it costs £3.1 million to provide our care. This means we need to raise £6,700 each and every day of the year to keep our services running.
Your generous donations are very much appreciated and help ensure nobody has to face a life limiting illness alone.
