About this Collection
Thank you for supporting our first Chrismas tree collection in aid of Severn Hospice, Telford.
Let us take away the hassle of getting rid of your real Christmas tree after Christmas. We would welcome a donation for collecting and recycling your tree.
We are collecting in TF1 and TF4 from the 11th - 12th January 2020.
In order for us to collect your tree, please register your tree by 2pm on Thursday 9th January.
Our members come from all walks of life but who are like minded people who give their time and expertise freely for the benefit of others. We are supported by enthusiastic volunteers and supporters, and by the people within our community who give most generously when we knock on their door!
After costs 51% of the monies raised will be donated to Severn Hospice and 49% to other local charities. Thank you also to all our volunteers and supporters for their help with the Christmas tree collection.

About the Hospice
Severn Hospice gives specialist care and support free of charge to families across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who are living with an incurable illness.
We support families through the good days and bad days because we believe that when cure is no longer possible, care is. Since 1989, we have given free care and support to more than 34,000 people and their loved ones during their time of greatest need. We now help more than 2,000 local people every year.
Our hospice is part of health services offered to people living in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales but we are not part of the NHS. We are a completely independent charity, having to raise around two-thirds of our running costs.
All of the care we provide to thousands of people every year is only possible thanks to the generous support we receive from the communities we serve. Our services are funded through a combination of kind donations from local people, fundraising activities, our lottery and retail departments, gifts in people’s wills and grants from the NHS.
Severn Hospice Mission - Our mission is to provide the best care and a better life for people living with an incurable illness, and for those important to them.
Severn Hospice Vision - Our vision is a world where people are cared for at the end of their life as well as they were at its beginning.
