A Christmas tree collection in Oxford

Helen & Douglas House is based in Oxford and cares for terminally ill children and their families from surrounding counties. As the world’s first children’s hospice, they provide care for babies and children up to the age of 18 years in a warm and loving environment.

It costs £3.6 million a year to run the hospice and 85% of this comes from generous donations and fundraising by members of the public.

This year, they will be having their first Christmas tree collection in several Oxford postcodes and the trees will be collected and recycled by local volunteers from the 9th - 11th January 2020 to raise money for the charity.

We wish them every success to raise the much needed funds so they can provide vital care for local terminally ill children and their families.
