Dr Kershaw's Hospice made a donation to a local charity in Oldham - Andy's Man Club which was set up by Luke Ambler in memory of his brother-in-law who took his own life.
It was in response to this tragic event that Luke, a father-of-two and professional rugby player, launched Andys Man Club - which supports men with their mental health offering a safe place for men in crisis to open up to others in a similar situation.
The support group initially started out as a coffee club for men with tea, biscuits and the opportunity to get things off their chest. However, it quickly became a group session where they the participants could discuss recent life events and discuss their coping strategies.
Luke was also responsible for the very successful #ItsOkayToTalk campaign to break down stigma around men opening up about how they feel.
Following the Christmas tree collection Dr Kershaw's which raised £596.31 for the hospice, they also donated £66.26 to the Oldham branch of Andy's Man Club.
In the UK, suicide is the number one killer of men under the age of 45, with 12 men taking their lives every day.
Andy's Man Club is part of an ongoing drive to help lower this figure.
