Bury Hospice, Bury

About this Collection

Please support your local Hospice and leave the effort of getting rid of your 2018 Christmas tree to us! Register to donate and have your tree collected and recycled.

We will be collecting trees between Friday 11th and Sunday 13th of January 2019 from the following postcodes:

BL8   BL9   BL0   M26   M45  and  M25

Last year we almost doubled the number of collections and funds which we raised.  Please donate so we can continue to offer care and support, not only to people approaching the end of life – though that is a very important part of our service – but also to their families and friends.

Your donations are very much appreciated and will help up provide services such as:

  • £5.00 will pay for a 3 course Christmas lunch for one of our patients on Christmas Day.
  • £20.00 could pay for an hour of compassionate nursing care over the festive period.
  • £140.00 could pay for a day of nursing care in the Hospice or in the community.

Supported by Bespoke Landscapes Ltd, Ashley Edge Gardening Services, Parcelfast, Lostock Installations, Senior Waste Removals and our great team of volunteers.

Don't miss out and register your tree by the 9th January 2019 at 1pm.

For further information or if you would like to get involved with the Christmas tree collection please contact Dale Mulgrew, Events Fundraiser on tel: 0161 797 1748 Ext. 207 or email dalemulgrew@buryhospice.org.uk.

About the Hospice

Bury Hospice, based on Rochdale Old Road, provides care to the people of the six towns – Bury; Prestwich; Radcliffe; Ramsbottom; Tottington and Whitefield – who are suffering from life-limiting conditions.

Bury Hospice is here to offer care and support, not only to people approaching the end of life – though that is a very important part of our service – but also to their families and friends.

We offer outstanding care from in-patient to day care services and community outreach support.  We aim to help Bury people to achieve the best possible quality of life at a time when this mattes more than ever.

Please support your local Hospice – we appreciate your generosity.  Thank you.
