About this Collection
In 2018 we collected just shy of 1000 trees and raised just short of £10,000 for the Hospice.
This would not be possible without the support of an army of volunteers and vans kindly given for free from the local community.
By donating to have your tree collected you are directly helping people in your local community in what can be the most difficult time of their lives.
Please ensure your tree is outside your house by early morning on Saturday 12th January. We suggest a donation of £10 per tree. Did you know:
- £5 pays for a memory book for a child to use in order to remember a special person
- £15 will provide meals for an in-patient for one day
- £25 will pay for aromatherapy oils for patients for 1 week
- £50 will pay for a physiotherapy session
- £100 heats the Hospice for one day
Collections will be between Saturday 12th January and Tuesday 15th January 2019 in the following postcodes:
CH1 CH2 CH3 CH4 CH65 CH66
Please register your tree by 9 January 2019 at 5pm.

About the Hospice
Hospice of the Good Shepherd is a local independent charity dedicated to providing dedicated care and support to people affected by cancer and other life limiting illnesses living in Chester, West Cheshire and Deeside.
We rely on the generosity of our local communities to fund the crucial work of the Hospice. Less than a third of our £4 million annual running costs come from government funding. The remainder is generated through fundraising initiatives such as this.
