About this Collection
Please support your local Hospice and help us to continue providing FREE care to our patients and their families.
We suggest a donation of £10 to collect and recycle your Christmas Tree, ensuring that your tree is not just left in your garden and saving you the hassle of disposing of it – no more needles all over your car!
Here’s how your donations can help:
- £10 will provide Hospice care for two minutes,
- £20 will provide a bereavement support session,
- £50 will provide a complimentary therapy session,
- £100 will provide a community nurse visit.
Your generous donations are much appreciated.
Our volunteers will be collecting the Christmas trees on Sunday 6th and Monday 7th January 2019 in the following postcodes:
SP1, SP2, SP3 4_, SP4 0_, SP4 6_, SP4 7_,
SP5 1, SP5 3_, SP5 4_
Please register your tree by 2nd January 2019 at 5pm.
In January 2018 we collected more than 300 trees and raised over £3500, we also donated £273 to the local charity Headway Salisbury; this year we are expanding our postcode area to raise even more.
We could not do this without our team of wonderful volunteers who are giving up their time to help us collect and recycle the trees including:
- Public Health England
- James Hay
- Ockenden Tree Services
- U Drive
- G Goddard
- Rose Farm
- TSB .............and many more local volunteers.

About the Hospice
Salisbury Hospice is not just a just a building – it’s a group of staff, volunteers and supporters who work together to provide exceptional care to patients with life limiting illnesses and support for their families.
We provide this care to people living in a wide geographical area including Salisbury and the rural area surrounding it, which includes parts of Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset. As we believe that the end of life deserves as much beauty, care and respect as the beginning, everything we do is free of charge.
The annual running costs for the Hospice are £2.4 million and with less than 40% funding from the NHS, Salisbury Hospice Charity aims to raise £1.5million of these costs.
